Founder
After a career in real estate development and construction spanning over 25 years in Boston, Tim Mackie founded Cedar & Stone after falling in love with Nantucket while working on commercial and residential projects on the island.
Tim has extensive industry knowledge coupled with a reputation for integrity and trust.

He completed his Bachelor of Science in Project Management at Wentworth Institute of Technology, and a Project Management Masters Certification at the Radcliffe Institute at Harvard University. He holds an unrestricted Construction Supervisor License, as well as a Home Improvement Contractor License and OSHA Certification. He was also awarded the Paul E. Tsongas Award by Preservation Massachusetts, for “projects that displayed the highest level of commitment to historic preservation in the Commonwealth.
