From site analysis and logistics planning to a full suite of due diligence services, our preconstruction team studies projects and delivers critical information key to budget and schedule creation. We participate early during the planning process with the projects that we permit and construct, with proven on-time deliveries and close-outs.
Founder
After a career in real estate development and construction spanning over 20 years in Boston, Timothy Mackie founded Cedar & Stone after falling in love with Nantucket while working on residential and commercial projects on the island.
Timothy has extensive industry knowledge coupled with a reputation for integrity and trust.

He completed his Bachelor of Science in Project Management at Wentworth Institute of Technology, and a Project Management Masters Certification at the Radcliffe Institute at Harvard University. He holds an unrestricted Construction Supervisor License, as well as a Home Improvement Contractor License and OSHA Certification. He has also been awarded the Paul E. Tsongas Award by Preservation Massachusetts, for displaying the highest level of commitment to historic preservation in the Commonwealth.
